A Message from Bianca
As we draw to the end of this year and reflect on what we have been through, I would like to say a huge thank you to my staff for their dedication, resilience, and hard work. Also, for your support and patience while we found our way around these unprecedented times. We are going to make Christmas as festive and as fun as we possibly can, to make sure that all our residents get the best end to an awful year.
As for visiting I do not believe restricting visiting is in our residents’ best interest but until the “R” rate drops down we will continue with one designated visitor per resident.
In the week leading up to Christmas we will open up extra slots for visiting to ensure that everyone can see their loved ones at this special time of year. We will also allocate extra video calls. This will be for the week of 21/12-27/12 please book through the office between 9am-3pm on a first come first served basis.
We will of course post all of our activities and celebrations on Facebook to keep you up to date with the daily life at Quinnell.
We wish you all a healthy and blessed Christmas period and believe 2021 will be a better year.
This month we have a few new members of staff that has started with us, welcome to Danni, Holly, Ria, Aisha, and Rosie who are joining our Care team. We’re sure they will be very happy here and become valued members of our team.
We would like wish Hannah well as she goes onto Maternity Leave. I would like to congratulate Dan Young on completing his NVQ 2 and Emily on completing her NVQ 3. Well done on all the hard work that you put in. We are now supporting Nicky, Lily, Victoria to work towards their NVQ’s.
Prompt payment via Cheque or Bank Transfer to the usual account will be most appreciated.
Meet the Staff
Lily – I joined Quinnell just over a year ago as a Carer on Nights, and was promoted to Senior Carer shortly afterwards. I am currently working on my NVQ 3.
At home and in my spare time I like to play with and walk my dogs Pepe, Bert, Pepper and Zeke. I also like watch Netflix whilst eating chocolate!
